Sunday random *B*

October 27, 2008

-Trying not to worry too much about tomorrow and praying I make it through

-As my pastor says, “if the Lord should tarry” or as my beautiful Grandma always says, “Lord’s will!” I am beginning my countdown to stay at the Westin Lagunamar Resort in Mexico! – this time next week I will be relaxing in Cancun! Ole!

-Was surfing the net and found these, so I HAD to order them! Can’t wait to rock them! :

– I had another dream about babies! goodness! STOP it already!

– Flipping through my mags this weekend and stumbled upon a great and fabulous clutch designer, look at this amazing bag!!

– And I could use this silly little travel set while jet setting:

– God has been quite good to me lately, I have no room to complain or give up!

– I’ve been trying to figure out the lesson in all of this, but I’m sure it’s right in front of my face and I just can’t see it!

– I’m rocking this really neat navy blue/hunter green nail polish – I love it! It’s different colors in different light

– I wanted to dye my hair red, but I’m loving the blonde and brown so I’ll keep it a bit longer

– Don’t you love when God puts you in a place where you have to completely, solely rely on Him and His grace?

– He is my everything, I need to start living like it!

– Water and Olay Night Time Facial cloths are the key to a fabulous face and beautiful skin!

– I went to go see Obama speak this past Wednesday since he was in my neck of the woods. Super amazing experience! A crowd of 35,000 came out to support this man. I was so glad I got to go!

– I had a really great Sunday and am glad I got to share it with my mom and little brother! Family time is precious time; don’t ever take it for granted!

A Voice For Joshua

October 24, 2008

As you may recall my blog about my baby cousin Josh who was killed by a drunk driver on Mother’s Day – Drunk Driving

Dear Friends,

Recently, I became involved with Walk Like MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD’s) signature walk event.I am walking for MADD Northern Virginia in their 1st annual 5k non-competitive walk on November 1, 2008 at Lake Fairfax Park in Reston , and I would like your support. I have already made a commitment to MADD to help raise money to support MADD’s mission to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking. I made this commitment because my precious little cousin Joshua was killed by a drunk driver on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2008. And our family will be walking like MADD in his memory. The name of his team is “A VOICE FOR JOSHUA“.

I invite you to join me as a team member or a virtual walker (one who can’t attend, but who walks “in spirit” instead) or to contribute to my personal efforts. Please log on to  “select a city”, and click on “ Fairfax , VA. ” Next, click on “Donate to a  Walker ,” and go into my walker website and please, please donate – I also encourage you to join MADD and become a walker with me or form your own team.  Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated. If you do donate you can search by team name which is ” A voice for Joshua” or by my name Bianca Nichole Parker and click to donate. Please follow the easy step-by-step instructions.

I hope to reach my donation goal by the day of the walk. You can donate online at by locating me with the “Find a Walker” tool. Any amount that you donate will make a difference. Don’t forget! All donations are 100% tax deductible.

Thank you so much for supporting me!!!
